Through modeling and instruction, it is my hope that students gain an understanding of what they will teach and whom they will serve, and a conviction in the professionalism needed to be an educator.

It is imperative that young educators understand the expectation of remaining a lifelong learner. With changes in technology occurring daily, integration of the new ISTE Educator standards in my teaching has allowed for deep, experiential learning as evidenced by this piece I wrote for the ISTE Teacher Educator Network newsletter.
